When we were searching for our wedding venue we had an image in our head that we wanted to find something close to. We searched all over the state of South Carolina and found many places that we liked but just weren’t perfect. When we first drove on site at Wingate Plantation we KNEW that this venue was the place where we would make memories for a lifetime (so much so that we actually had a watercolor painting done to help us remember the view for ever).During the whole process, Sarah honestly never felt like a venue manager, she was a friend to Sarah and I. She is the sweetest and most professional person and was extremely helpful and flexible to all of our crazy ideas. Wingate Plantation is the perfect portrayal of Charleston, SC and made our wedding beautiful but extremely personal.We were so sad when we picked up our vehicles the next morning because we knew it would be the last time we would get to see the beautiful venue for a while. Thank you so much for making our wedding a day we will NEVER forget, Sarah! You are exceeding the expectations for weddings in Charleston and are the perfect example of Southern Hospitality!
